RALF BRUECKNER, M.D.
Vice President, Clinical Research and Development
Dr. Brueckner obtained his MD degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, and his
internship and residency in pediatrics at Madigan Army Medical Center. Following board
certification and clinical practice, he completed a fellowship in clinical pharmacology
under Carl Peck at the Hebert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the
Health Sciences. Dr. Brueckner has 16 years of experience in drug development for the
U.S. military, including partnering with major pharmaceutical companies, pharmacokinetic
and pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation, program management, teaching and computer
programming. He joined ICON Development solutions as Sr. Director, Clinical Research and
Development in 2006, and currently heads the ICON Development Solutions Clinical Research
and Development department in the United States.
